Moxie Kennel is a young, home-based kennel located in Alpharetta, Georgia, thirty minutes north of Altanta.  My husband and I enjoy sharing our lives with our 2 children, 4 golden retrievers and 1 lab.

We are active in the breed and obedience rings, and are beginning to do some field and agility training.  We are firm believers that conformation Goldens and Labs can excel in performance events.

Our current team includes:
Whiskey

     Moxie Kennel's STAR!

Whiskey - CH Starfire's Bottoms Up UDX2

Watch for Whiskey on FOX Network's new series "Past Life" where he plays Phoenix, Dr. Kate's pet golden retriever.

Whiskey recently competed in the 2009 National Obedience Invitational in Long Beach, CA.    I believe he is the first breed champion golden retriever to earn an invitation.

Read about Whiskey's Invitational experience in the April issue of Dog Fancy where he will be featured in an article about the event.

Toby - CH Ransom's Meant To Be CD JH WC
Toby is our one and only lab.  He is out of 3 generations of Master Hunters.  Toby has multiple group placements to accompany his extreme performance drive.

Brio - SHR Charisma Talli's GrandFinale UD JH WC (retired)
Brio is our only bitch.    After several years of obedience, we discovered Brio's real love was working in the field.

Cysco - Charisma's Golden Icon UDX2, JH, VCX, ODHF (retired)
Cysco was my first breed and obedience dog.  He started his breed career winning a 5 point major, and his obedience career going High in Trial.   He is a versatility excellent golden and in the GRCA Obedience Dog Hall of Fame.

Hunter - Hunter is our permanent foster.   He was returned back to his breeder at age 6.  I brought Hunter home to give him some basic training before he was adopted out... it didn't take us long to decide that Hunter had found his permanent home!
